CHICAGO, Ill. (July 5, 2023) – U.S. Women’s Beach Soccer National Team head coach Morgan Church has called in 16 players for a domestic training camp that will take place from July 5-10 at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Southern California.

The camp was to serve as final preparation for the ANOC World Beach Games in Bali in August, but U.S. Soccer received word on July 4 that that competition had been officially canceled by ANOC.

U.S. Soccer will now target another competitive opportunity for the program based on the Beach Soccer Worldwide international calendar.

The Beach WNT successfully qualified for the World Beach Games in April this year in El Salvador as part of back-to-back competitions in which they won the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup in Mexico.

The roster for the July camp features experienced players including co-captains Jeane Sunseri-Warp and 2022 U.S. Beach Soccer Female Player of the Year Ali Hall, the team’s all-time leading scorers Lauren Leslie and Kilee Quigley, and goalkeeper Melissa Lowder, among others.
