SCHALKHAAR, Netherlands (June 11, 2023) – The U.S. Under-15 Women’s Youth National Team routed the Netherlands 7-0 in the first of two matches during a training camp in Europe.

Forwards Micayla Johnson and Ella Kral scored while forward Ashlyn Anderson, defender Natalie Chudowsky and midfielder Sierra Dupre scored single goals in a match that was amazingly just 1-0 at halftime in the 80-minute game.

After the USA opened the scoring in the 17th minute with Anderson scoring off a cross from midfielder Scotty Antonucci, the U.S. attack erupted for six goals in the second half.

Just two minutes into the second half, Johnson went on a solo run from the center of the field towards the right side of the penalty area and spun her shot into the lower left lower corner of the net. Johnson added her second goal just a minute later and then played provider five minutes after that, setting up Kral.

The USA then scored twice in a three-minute span, from Chudowsky in the 60th and Kral in the 63rd, to make it 6-0. Dupre capped the scoring four minutes into second half stoppage time as she dribbled from midfield to about 35 yards out and fired a blistering shot into the back of the net.

The goals for all the players were their first at the international level. All the players on the roster were born in 2008.

The USA will finish the trip with a match against the Germany U-15 WYNT on June 13 in Nordhorn.
