CHICAGO (Feb. 12, 2020) – The Under-17 Women’s National Team will hold its final training camp before the 2020 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship when 24 players come together in Bradenton, Florida from Feb. 15-23.

During the camp the USA play two games against the England U-17 WNT, on Feb. 19 (2 p.m. ET) at the IMG Soccer Stadium and Feb. 22 (1 p.m. ET) at the IMG Football Stadium. Admission to both games is free.

U.S. head coach Tracey Kevins has called up 24 players for the camp which will be the final chance for players to earn a spot on the 20-player roster that will travel to Toluca, Mexico for the 2020 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship.

With the 20-team tournament now confirmed for Mexico, the dates have been set from April 18-May 3 and the groups adjusted. The USA is in Group G will now face Guatemala, El Salvador and Cuba.

The top-three finishers in each of the four groups will join four winners from regional qualifying in the Round of 16 and then a knock-out tournament will ensue. The teams that advance to the Championship Game as well as the winner of the Third-Place Match will advance to the 2020 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup to be staged in India from Nov. 2-21.
