Alyssa Naeher has 33 career shutouts in her 60 caps. She makes her 61st appearance tonight and has moved past Nicole Barnhart to become the third-most capped goalkeeper in U.S. history.
Emily Sonnett makes her 44th appearance for the USWNT today. She played in all three group games and is making her third start this tournament.
Abby Dahlkemper will start the 51st game of her 58 overall caps tonight. She came off the bench against Panama on Jan. 28, marking just her third appearance as a sub since the start of 2019, but got the start and went 90 minutes against Costa Rica on Feb. 3 and Mexico on Feb. 7. Her start against Haiti on Jan. 28 was her first in Olympic Qualifying.
Ali Krieger got the start at center back in the final two games of Group A play and played 90 minutes in each. She returns to the starting lineup today, earning her 107th international cap.
Crystal Dunn, the only player to start the first four games, earns cap No. 101 tonight. She became the 39th player in USA history to reach the century mark. She will be honored for the achievement later in the year.
Julie Ertz will be captaining the USWNT for the first time. She has 19 career international goals, seven off free kicks and eight off corner kicks. Making her 99th appearance, Ertz is one away from becoming the 40th woman in USWNT history to hit the century mark.
Rose Lavelle scored against Panama on Jan. 31 and against Mexico on Feb. 7, and now has 12 international goals. She will make her 42nd international appearance tonight in her 35th start. She had her first career brace against T&T on Oct. 10, 2018, during the Concacaf Women’s Championship.
Lindsey Horan scored her first career hat trick – and first multi-goal game for the WNT – against Panama on Jan. 31 and also picked up two assists. She has 17 goals for her career and five for the tournament. She is tied for second in scoring in the tournament so far with Christen Press. She will earn cap No. 83 tonight.
Christen Press scored in all three group games of Olympic Qualifying, including a pair of golazos vs. Costa Rica, and then tallied a magical goal in the semifinal against Mexico. She has scored in six consecutive games dating back to the final two matches of 2019. She will earn cap No. 135 today. She has 56 career goals and 36 career assists. The USWNT record for consecutive games with a goal was set way back in 1991 by Michelle Akers, who scored in nine straight matches. Press is the first player to score in six straight games since Carli Lloyd did so in 2014 when she scored in seven consecutive games.
Lynn Williams will earn cap No. 25. She has eight goals, including two in this tournament, and will make her 10th career start.
Jessica McDonald will earn her 17th cap tonight. She has scored in the final two group games of Olympic Qualifying, giving her four career WNT goals.
