• Alyssa Naeher will earn cap No. 51 today and is closing in on the third most caps for any WNT goalkeeper. She is currently behind third-place Nicole Barnhart (54). She has 28 career shutouts, with the most recent one coming vs. Sweden on June 20.
• Kelley O’Hara will make her 10th appearance of 2019 and earn cap No. 122. She has started every match she’s played in this year and played every minute of three games at the World Cup.
• Abby Dahlkemper earns cap No. 45 today. She has started 40 of her 45 caps and played her first World Cup match on June 11 vs. Thailand. She has played the most minutes of any U.S. player through the first four WWC games with 352.
• Becky Sauerbrunn will earn cap No. 162 today. She was held out of the World Cup opener on June 11 due to a minor quad issue but returned to play 90 minutes against Chile on June 16, Sweden on June 20 and Spain on June 24.
• Crystal Dunn has 24 career international goals and will earn cap No. 89 today. She was rested against Chile on June 16 but returned to the lineup against Sweden and Spain to play the full 90.
• Julie Ertz will reach 86 caps today. She currently has 19 international goals, the most recent coming against Chile on June 16, which was her first World Cup goal. She sat out the match against Sweden due to precautionary reasons with a minor injury but returned to play the full match against Spain on June 24.
• Samantha Mewis will earn her 54th international appearance today. She got her first World Cup start and first two World Cup goals against Thailand and started against Sweden and Spain. Mewis is tied for third on the U.S. team in goals this year with six.
• Rose Lavelle made her World Cup debut on June 11 and scored twice against Thailand, her second career brace. She now has 30 caps – with 25 starts – and nine goals. She was a key player in the USA’s 2-1 win over Spain, earning the game-winning penalty kick, and was subbed out in the 89th minute.
• Tobin Heath comes into the game with 30 career international goals and will make her 154th international appearance today. Heath has 12 goals in her last 21 matches and 10 in her last 16. She saw the full 90 minutes of play against Spain in the Round of 16 on June 24 and earned the first penalty kick.
• Alex Morgan had a game for the ages against Thailand in the USA’s opening game of the World Cup, tying a World Cup record with five goals while adding three assists. The five scores upped her career total to 106 and she is now within one goal of tying Michelle Akers for fifth on the USA's all-time goals list. Morgan has scored 33 goals over her last 38 WNT matches, a span that runs from the end of 2017. Morgan has scored in 72 career games for the USA and in those matches, the U.S. team has never lost, going 62-0-10. Morgan will captain the USA today.
• Megan Rapinoe has 47 career goals after her two PKs against Spain in the Knockout Round on June 24, which moves her into 13th place on the all-time U.S. scoring list past Julie Foudy and into a tie with Heather O’Reilly and Tisha Veturini for 12th place all-time. She has six career World Cup goals. After getting two vs. Thailand, she has 59 assists for her career, moving her to sole possession of sixth place on the U.S. all-time list. She will earn cap No. 157 today.
• Dahlkemper and Naeher are the only two players on the U.S. roster to have started all five games of this World Cup.
