CHICAGO (April 29, 2019)—The U.S. Beach Soccer National Team will hold its final training camp before the 2019 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship in Huntington Beach, Calif. from April 29 to May 3.
Beach NT head coach Eddie Soto has called in 17 players for the camp. He will select 12 players from this roster to represent the USA at the Concacaf Championship, which qualifies two teams to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. The U.S. is aiming for its first Beach Soccer world Cup berth since 2013.
Eleven players return from the team’s training camp last month, while three make their first Beach NT appearances of 2019: defenders Adriano dos Santos and Jonathan Greenfield as well as goalkeeper Daniel Waltman. Four players have appeared in all three of the USA’s camps so far this year and nine return from the U.S. roster at the 2017 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship.
