DETROIT (Sept. 17, 2015) – The World Cup Champion U.S. Women’s National Team continued its Victory Tour with a 5-0 win against Haiti in front of a record
crowd of 34,538 at Ford Field. The crowd was the largest to attend a soccer game in the history of the Detroit stadium.
Carli Lloyd struck first for the U.S. in the sixth minute. The 2015 World Cup Golden Ball winner was set up by a Crystal Dunn cross in a prelude of what
would come over the next 84 minutes. In the 33rd minute, Dunn again had the assist, finding Christen Press with a near-post cross and she volleyed
home for her 25th WNT score. Four minutes later, Lloyd added her second, and would complete her hat trick in the second half.
In the final minutes of the match, Dunn rose up for a header off a cross from Heather O’Reilly to earn her first international goal in her first start of
the year and just her second cap of 2015.

She worked a give-and-go with Tobin Heath before moving down the right-hand edge of the box and again curled in a cross that found Christen Press in front of the goal. Press shielded her defender and with re-directed the cross into the net at the near post. USA 2, HAI 0 SEE GOAL
USA – Carli Lloyd (penalty kick) 37th minute: After Christen Press was taken down in the box, the U.S. was awarded a penalty kick. Lloyd powered a perfectly placed shot past the diving ‘keeper and into the right corner for a 3-0 halftime lead. USA 3, HAI 0
USA – Carli Lloyd (Lauren Holiday) 69th minute: Lauren Holiday drove a perfect ball across the box on the corner kick. Lloyd rose above the pack and sent her header back across the goal, over the Haiti ‘keeper and into the net to complete her hat trick. USA 4, HAI 0 SEE GOAL
USA – Crystal Dunn (Heather O’Reilly) 90+3 minute: In the game’s final seconds Crystal Dunn scored her first career international goal. It came on a cross from Heather O’Reilly. Dunn cut through the box, sliced in front of Abby Wambach and jumped high to power her header home. USA 5, HAI 0 FINAL

Milestone Watch:
In addition to tallying two assists for her first international points, Crystal Dunn scored on a header in stoppage time for her first
international goal.
With their appearances tonight, Becky Sauerbrunn earned her 90th cap, while Ali Krieger earned her 75th cap. Hope Solo earned her 180th cap.
With her goal tonight, Christen Press became the 22nd player in U.S. WNT history to score 25 goals.
Carli Lloyd’s trio of scores pushed her career total to 74 and she is now just one goal away from tying Cindy Parlow for sixth on the all-time
list. The U.S. captain has scored 10 times in her last seven games and tonight marked her 10th multi-goal game for the WNT.
Lloyd became the sixth WNT player with four career hat tricks.
The WNT extended its record unbeaten streak to 99-consecutive home games (87-0-12). The last loss at home came to Denmark on Nov. 6, 2004.

- Crystal Dunn’s start was her first of 2015 and her first appearance since coming on as a substitute against England in February. Dunn was the 2015 NWSL Golden Boot winner, scoring 15 goals.
- Prior to the Sept. 20 match in Birmingham, midfielder Tobin Heath will be honored for earning her 100th cap. Against Costa Rica on Aug. 19, Heath became the 33rd American female to play 100 times for her country. She debuted for the USA in January of 2008 and has scored 12 goals over her first 101 games, including famously tallying the fifth goal in the 2015 Women's World Cup Final.
