She has a spectacular game against England in the semifinal, making a spectacular sav eon a shot from distance and of course stopping the game-tying penalty kick.

  • Kelley O’Hara will make her 12th appearance of 2019 and earn cap No. 124. She has started every match she’s played in this year and played every minute of five games at the World Cup. She has 16 career assists to go along with two goals, one of which was scored in the 2015 World Cup semifinal vs. Germany.

  • Abby Dahlkemper earns cap No. 47 today. She has started 42 of her 47 caps and played her first World Cup match on June 11 vs. Thailand. She has played the most minutes of any field player this World Cup.

  • Becky Sauerbrunn will earn cap No. 164 today. She was held out of the World Cup opener on June 11 due to a minor quad issue but returned to play all 90 minutes in every match after that.

  • Crystal Dunn has 24 career international goals and will earn cap No. 91 today. She has played every minute of all five matches she has played at the World Cup.

  • Julie Ertz will reach 88 caps today. She currently has 19 international goals, the most recent coming against Chile on June 16, which was her first World Cup goal.

  • Samantha Mewis will earn her 56th cap today. She is tied for third on the U.S. team in goals this year with six. She got her first World Cup start and first two World Cup goals against Thailand, which was her third career brace.

  • Rose Lavelle made her World Cup debut on June 11 and scored twice against Thailand, her second career brace. She now has 32 caps – with 27 starts – and nine goals.

  • Tobin Heath comes into the game with 30 career international goals and will make her 156th international appearance today. Heath has 12 goals in her last 23 matches and 10 in her last 18.

  • Alex Morgan had a game for the ages against Thailand in the USA’s opening game of the World Cup, tying a World Cup record with five goals while adding three assists. She also scored the game-winning goal vs. England on the semifinal on July 2 and now has a career total of 107 goals and is tied with Michelle Akers for fifth on the USA's all-time goals list. Morgan has scored 34 goals over her last 40 WNT matches, a span that runs from the end of 2017. Morgan has scored in 73 career games for the USA and in those matches, the U.S. team has never lost, going 63-0-10.

  • Megan Rapinoe has 49 career goals which moves her into sole possession of 11th place on the all-time U.S. scoring list. She has eight career World Cup goals. Rapinoe was rested for the USA’s Semifinal matchup against England on July 2 due to a minor hamstring strain but returns to the starting lineup today and will captain the USA.

  • Dahlkemper and Naeher are the only two players on the U.S. roster to have started all seven games of this World Cup.
