CHICAGO (Jan. 19, 2021)— Los Angeles Galaxy defender Julian Araujo has been added to the
U-23 USMNT roster for its training camp in Bradenton, Fla., while FC Dallas defender Bryan Reynolds will be departing for personal reasons.
Araujo earned his first cap with the senior USMNT as a starter in the team’s 6-0 shutout victory against El Salvador last December in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The right back appeared in the first two matches of the U-23 USMNT cycle against Egypt and the Netherlands in March 2019. Just 19-years-old, Araujo played a career-high 1299 minutes this year for Los Angeles as the Galaxy’s only player under 25 to eclipse 1000 minutes.
