CHICAGO (Jan. 9, 2020) – After seven years with the U.S. Soccer Federation in a variety of roles, B.J. Snow will pursue a new opportunity as the head of ProQuo Sports, Inc., a company dedicated to creating equity for women’s sports in America.
After serving as the head coach of the U-17 WNT for two World Cup cycles, Snow moved into a role under former WNT head coach Jill Ellis as the USWNT Director of Talent Identification, as a lead scout for each of the USA’s past two World Cup victories and for the last few years as the U-23 WNT head coach.
“It has been an absolute honor to have worked at U.S. Soccer for the past seven years,” said Snow. “The memories made, including the two World Cup wins, have been incredible, but more importantly, I have had the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people along the way. I will forever be in debt to these people and our efforts to help grow the women’s game, not just in our country, but around the world. It is these moments that I feel have prepared me for the next step in my career to try and continue these efforts to create equity for women’s sports in America.”
“We want to sincerely thank B.J. for his many years of dedicated work for U.S. Soccer and the major part he played giving opportunities to and in the development of so many talented players,” said U.S. Women’s National Team General Manager Kate Markgraf. “We’re happy that in his new position he’ll continue to be a champion for women’s sports, and we wish him and his family all the best.”
