  • Arriola makes his team-leading 10th appearance of 2019.

  • Just four players in the starting lineup appeared in the 1-0 defeat to Jamaica on June 5 in Washington, D.C.: Arriola, Miazga, Ream and Steffen.

  • Three players have previously scored against Jamaica: Altidore (3 goals), Morris (2) and Bradley (1).

  • Altidore and Morris scored in the last Gold Cup meeting with the Reggae Boyz, a 2-1 victory in the 2017 final on July 26, 2017 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

  • Making his second start of the tournament, Altidore also returns to the same stadium where he became the youngest USMNT player to record a hat trick, with the then 19-year-old scoring all three goals in a 3-0 World Cup Qualifying win against Trinidad & Tobago on April 1, 2009. 

  • The USA comes into tonight’s match on a team-record nine-game winning streak in Concacaf Gold Cup play (July 12, 2017-June 30, 2019).

  • The USMNT also rides a 414-minute shutout streak, having last conceded a goal in the 36th minute of the June 9 match against Venezuela.

  • The USA is 15-3-8 all-time against Jamaica and 4-1-0 in Gold Cup play.

  • The winner of tonight’s match will face Mexico in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup Final on Sunday, July 7 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
