FUTSAL REFEREE

Introduces the Futsal Laws of the Game and the differences between soccer and futsal.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Online and/or in-person Futsal Referee modules

REGIONAL FUTSAL REFEREE

Aims to increase knowledge and understanding of the role of a futsal referee, and preparing referees for higher level competitions.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Online and/or in-person Regional Futsal Referee modules
• Completion of Regional Futsal fitness test and match evaluations

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

All licensed match officials with U.S. Soccer – in both referee and referee coach pathways – are required to:

• Complete the Intro to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments online module
• Maintain a valid background screening (18 years and older)
• Maintain valid SafeSport training (18 years and older)
