As part of our ecosystem review, our members shared additional ways that U.S. Soccer can work in service to our members. Based on this feedback, our Soccer Services strategy will reduce your administrative burden, lower the cost, and make the experience easier and more positive for all to participate. It will enable our members to focus their time and resources on bringing soccer programming to communities across the country.
Soccer Services is all about freeing up your time and supporting your growth. Whether by scaling the safeguarding and player registration processes, creating more user-friendly administrative experiences, or by introducing nationwide efficiencies - we are here to help.
Soccer Services evolves our approach and partnership model to ensure we are investing in the ways that best support your needs. Initial areas of focus include:
- Referees: Supporting the growth and development of our referee pool
- Safeguarding: Creating the safest environments by launching the Safe Soccer Clearance program
- Player registration: Streamlining player registration process
- Member benefits: Launching new Insiders program & FIFA World Cup 2026 member benefits

Referees
Referees are critical to the success of the game at all levels. In partnership with members and State Referee Committee, the U.S. Soccer Referee Program is focused on several initiatives.
