  • USMNT Starting XI Caps (including this match): Tim Ream (79), Brenden Aaronson (55), Cristian Roldan (42), Miles Robinson (38), Sergiño Dest (36), Gio Reyna (33), Folarin Balogun (22), Joe Scally (22), Max Arfsten (15), Matt Freese (12), Tanner Tessmann (11)
  • The Starting XI averages 32 caps and has an average age of 25 years, 278 days.
  • Both products of the Philadelphia Union Academy, goalkeeper Matt Freese and midfielder Brenden Aaronson start tonight in Chester. Aaronson rose from the Academy (2015-18), played for the club’s second team (2017-2018) and for the first team for two seasons (2019-2020), before transferring to Red Bull Salzburg in 2021. Along with Aaronson, Freese started the final matchday of the 2020 season, backstopping the team to the victory that secured the Supporters’ Shield. Union Academy and first-team alums Auston Trusty and Mark McKenzie are both substitutes tonight.
  • Gio Reyna and Joe Scally both earn their first appearances since the Concacaf Nations League match against Canada on March 23 in Inglewood, Calif. Reyna also gets his first start since the July 1, 2024 against Uruguay in Copa América.
  • Tim Ream captains the USMNT for the 25th time tonight, ranking him eighth on the team’s all-time captains list.
  • A first-time choice for the MLS Best XI this season, Cristian Roldan will start back-to-back matches for the USMNT for the first time since a three-game span in September and October 2019. Roldan started and contributed both assists in the USA’s 2-1 win against Australia last month in Commerce City, Colo.
  • Having debuted for the U.S. in January, Max Arfsten will earn his 15th cap tonight, tying Diego Luna for the team lead in 2025. Arfsten’s 12 starts are also the most of any USMNT player this year, while his four assists tie him with Malik Tillman for the team lead in 2025.
  • Miles Robinson earns his third-straight start for the first time since the Gold Cup matches against Trinidad and Tobago, Canada and Panama in July 2023.
  • This is the USMNT’s fourth match at Subaru Park, and first since the 3-0 win against Bolivia on May 28, 2018.
  • The USA is 4W-2L-2D all-time against Paraguay. This is the first meeting between the two sides since a 1-0 victory on March 27, 2018 in Cary, N.C.
