ATLANTA (May 13, 2025) — U.S. Soccer today unveiled the 2025 U.S. National Team Kit Collection, introducing new kits that blend American fashion, cultural identity, and team heritage into a statement of purpose and pride.

The kits were developed in collaboration with Nike and Senior National Team players Lynn (Williams) Biyendolo, Naomi Girma, Sophia (Smith) Wilson, Kellyn Acosta, DeAndre Yedlin and Walker Zimmerman. The new designs are made to honor the storied legacy of our teams and celebrate the passion of U.S. Soccer fans across the country.

Celebrating 40 years of the U.S. Women’s National Team, the Brilliant Kit is a tribute to the trailblazers who have shaped soccer and inspired generations. Star details are drawn directly from iconic past WNT kits, fused with a modern silhouette to reflect the optimism, leadership, and evolution of the game.

"This collection represents Nike's deep commitment to women’s soccer as an undeniable force that continues to elevate the game globally,” said Maggie Gauger, Vice President/GM, Nike North America Women's Business. “The refreshed designs honor the brilliance of the U.S. Women’s National Team — celebrating 40 years of legacy, resilience, and groundbreaking achievements both on and off the pitch.”

The Heartbeat Kit recognizes the fans — the ever-growing, passionate community behind U.S. Soccer. Their energy is a rhythmic force that brings people together and pushes the game forward. Designed with a heritage-meets-streetstyle aesthetic, the Heartbeat Kit channels the pulse of the soccer nation.

Nike designers made sustainable considerations in every aspect of the new kits. The jersey is made of 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles and the short is composed of at least 80% recycled material.

Blending lifestyle and legacy, the Anthem Jacket features an abstract, faded composition of red and blue stars, designed to represent pride, passion, and unity. The jacket reflects the merged identity of both kits and serves as a wearable symbol of team spirit and personal pride.

“To me, the kits represent the USWNT mentality of always pushing forward,” said Biyendolo. “I know I can speak for my teammates when I say that every time we put on the uniform, it brings a great sense of pride. When we represent our country, our team and ourselves, we know we are doing so while standing on the shoulders of giants. The Brilliant Kit is just another way to honor our past and the women who played before us.”

“As the game evolves, the style evolves,” said USMNT player Mark McKenzie. “There's a modern edge to this (Heartbeat) kit, a sleekness that catches the eye. But it doesn't lose sight of what this crest stands for, the history etched in the red, white, and blue threads. The kit pays tribute to our fans and the importance of their connection to the team. It's a reminder of who we play for and what we represent every single time we step onto that field. Not much more you can ask for!”

“We look forward to seeing stadiums full of these kits as we cheer on our teams with the heart and passion that they represent,” commented Liz Lafitte, chair of the U.S. Soccer Fan Council.

The 2025 kits draw on decades of history while embracing the energy of a new era, reflecting the shifting landscape of the sport in America. At their core, they are a reflection of the people — players and fans alike — who continue to shape soccer in the United States.
