CHICAGO (Feb. 25, 2025) – U.S. Soccer has appointed Ross Brady as the new head coach of the U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team.

Brady joins U.S. Soccer after eight-and-a-half years in the Chicago Fire FC academy set-up, serving as Head of Foundation Phase (U-13 to U-15) and a head coach at multiple age groups, from U-12 to U-17. In total, Brady brings 15 years of experience coaching across the American soccer ecosystem.

The Memphis native has also worked as an assistant coach in the U.S. Youth National Team set-up since 2024 under U-17 MNT head coach Gonzalo Segares, including at the USA’s successful campaign at the 2024 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers in Costa Rica.

“It’s an honor to join U.S. Soccer as head coach of the U-15 Boys’ National Team,” Brady said. “I’m looking forward to instilling U.S. Soccer’s values with our young players as they enter the National Team system and helping unlock their full potential. This age group marks the start of a long journey wearing the crest and making our country proud.”

Brady holds his U.S. Soccer “A-Youth” License as well as Major League Soccer and the French Football Federation’s Elite Formation Coaching License.

The Tennessee native joined the Fire in 2016 and gained a wide breadth of experience with the club. During the course of his tenure, he helped develop 12 players that went on to sign MLS Homegrown contracts and several players for the Youth National Team program, including goalkeepers Gaga Slonina and Chris Brady and forward Brian Gutiérrez.

Before joining the Chicago Fire, Brady spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Northern Illinois University and as Director of Coaching at nearby Northern Illinois FC, overseeing the development of all boys’ teams from U-8 to U-18.

He launched his coaching career at Jackson Wolves Soccer Club in Tennessee as a head coach before serving as a graduate assistant for Hastings College in Nebraska and also working as an assistant for the state’s Olympic Development Program. Brady played collegiately at Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn., where the Eagles won two conference championships.

Brady’s first training camp with the U-15BNT will take place this week in Mesa, Ariz. It’s the third training camp for the 2010-birth year U-15 cycle and marks the age group’s first international matches as they will compete in two friendlies against Mexico.
