CARSON, California (June 3, 2024) – The U.S. Under-20 Women’s Youth National Team fell to Korea Republic, 4-2, to finish a training camp in Los Angeles as forwards Ally Sentnor and Jordynn Dudley scored for the USA.

U.S. head coach Tracey Kevins made eight changes to the starting lineup from the team that defeated South Korea, 3-0, on May 31, and in this match, it was the visitors who got on the front foot, scoring three times in the first 34 minutes.

The USA did pull a goal back at the start of first half stoppage time as two young pros combined in the attacking third. Seattle Reign FC forward Emeri Adames crossed from the left side to Sentnor, and the Utah Royals forward headed home into the left corner from eight yards out for her seventh international goal at this level.

South Korea made it 4-1 – with four different goal scorers – in the 64th minute before the Americans added one more in the 84th, this coming on a self-made breakaway from the speedy Dudley, who picked off a back pass from a Korean midfielder and raced past several defenders before slotting her shot into the lower right corner from with her left foot from eight yards out.

The U.S. starting lineup featured three professional players in Ally Lemos (Orlando Pride), Sentnor (Utah Royals) and Adames (Seattle Reign FC) as opposed to the six who started the first match.
