NORDHORN, Germany (June 11, 2024) – The U.S. Under-15 Women’s Youth National Team defeated Germany, 4-0, as midfielder Deus Stanislaus scored twice while midfielder Caroline Swann and forward Mak Whitham added single scores.

The USA scored three times in the first half in a match played with 40-minute halves. The first goal came in the 23rd minute as Whitham played in a cross from the right side that Stanislaus finished from near the penalty spot. It was her first goal at the U-15 international level.

The second U.S. goal came just six minutes later after a corner kick that was cleared poorly by Germany.

Swann pounced on the ball at the top of the penalty box and finished into the upper corner to make it 2-0.

The USA continued to pour it on and seven minutes later it was 3-0. Midfielder Kendall Conway, who had to enter the match early in the first half for Mia Corona, played a pass behind the Germany backline to Whitham, who beat the ‘keeper and finished into the open net.

The USA added an insurance goal eight minutes into the second as Conway played a pass out wide to forward Maddie DiMaria, who beat a defender and cut a pass back to Stanislaus at the top of the box for a first-time volley to earn her a brace.

The goals were also the first for Swann and Whitham at the U-15 level.

U.S. head coach Ciara Crinion named 19 players for this trip that were born in 2009 with Whitham the only player born in 2010.
