CHICAGO (June 25, 2024) – The U.S. Men’s National Team unveiled three friendlies as part of their fall home schedule in September and October, with all matches being broadcast on a wide range of television and radio networks.

In its first two matches after Copa América, the United States hosts Canada on Fan Appreciation Night on Sept. 7 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan., which will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. ET on TBS, Telemundo, Universo, Max, Peacock and Fútbol de Primera.

Three days later, the USA welcomes New Zealand to TQL Stadium in Cincinnati (7 p.m. ET; TNT, Universo, truTV, Max, Peacock and Fútbol de Primera).

The following month on Oct. 12, U.S. Soccer will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night, presented by AT&T, with the USMNT facing Panama at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET, and the match will be broadcast live on TNT, Telemundo, Universo, Max, Peacock and Fútbol de Primera.

Remarkably, all three venues have one thing in common: the USMNT has never lost a match in any of them.

The annual Fan Appreciation match will be all about celebrating our fans. The match experience in Kansas City will feature fun, interactive fan activations, opportunities to win prizes, and much more.

Tickets for each match go on sale to the public Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. local venue time.

VS. THE NORTHERN NEIGHBOR

This is the USMNT’s first meeting with the northern neighbors outside of official competition since 2016, a 1-0 win on Feb. 5 in Carson, Calif. The teams squared off twice in 2023 in Concacaf competitions, the USA first collecting a 2-0 shutout victory in the Nations League championship match on June 18 in Las Vegas. On July 9, following a dramatic 2-2 draw in extra time, the USMNT utilized two penalty kick saves from Matt Turner to defeat Canada 3-2 in a shootout before a raucous 24,979 fans at TQL Stadium.

Overall, the U.S. holds a 17W-10L-13D edge all-time against Les Rouges.

CONFIDENT IN KANSAS CITY

In the 13 years since the USMNT first stepped on the field at Children’s Mercy Park, there isn’t a venue that has witnessed more success. Overall, the USA has amassed an unbeaten 8W-0L-2D record with a whopping 20 goals scored and only two against at Sporting KC’s home venue. Most recently, a scoreless draw against Uruguay on June 5, 2022 extended the USMNT’s home unbeaten streak to 25 matches that ended one shy of the team record of 26 set from 2013-2015.

RETURN OF THE KIWIS

Five-time champions of the Oceania Football Confederation, New Zealand returns to the United States for the first time since 2016. The teams have only met three times in history, dating back to the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup where the U.S. won 2-1 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Most recently, the teams dueled to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 10, 2016 at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. Overall, the USMNT holds an unbeaten 2W-0L-1D record.

ANOTHER QUEEN CITY

The USA returns to TQL Stadium in Cincinnati for its fourth visit to the home of FC Cincinnati since the venue opened in spring 2021. TQL played host to the latest Dos a Cero victory against Mexico in November 2021 during qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup as well as a 3-0 friendly win against Morocco in June '22, the team that finished fourth in Qatar.

Overall, the USA is 2W-1L-1D in Cincinnati. The USMNT has a proud history in the Buckeye State, recording a 13W-3L-4D record.

BRING ON THE MAREA ROJA

Panama is one of the USMNT’s most frequent opponents in the region, the teams having met 27 times dating back to 1993. While the U.S. holds a 17W-3L-6D advantage across all competitions, it was the Marea Roja who captured the most recent spoils when they eliminated the United States in the semifinal of the 2023 Gold Cup in a penalty shootout.

UNBEATEN IN AUSTIN

Completing the trio of friendly confines for the fall is Q2 Stadium, a venue in which the USMNT has never lost nor conceded a goal. The city has hosted matches in three different official competitions, including the Gold Cup, the Nations League, and World Cup Qualifying. The USMNT holds a perfect 4W-0L-0D record at the home of Austin FC, with all four victories coming by shutout.
