CHICAGO (March 17, 2024) – Forwards Brenden Aaronson and Haji Wright have been added to the USMNT roster for the 2024 Concacaf Nations League Finals. They replace Luca de la Torre (right quadriceps strain) and Josh Sargent (right ankle irritation).

A veteran of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Aaronson has earned 38 caps for the USMNT and has scored eight goals with six assists in his international career. The 23-year-old has seven appearances and one goal in CNL action, having started in the 2-0 win against Canada in the championship final of the 2023 edition. On loan to Union Berlin, he tallied the insurance goal in their 2-0 win on March 16 against Werder Bremen.

Wright, 25, earned all seven of his senior team caps in 2022, culminating in appearances in all four of the USA’s matches in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He scored the USA’s lone goal in the 3-1 defeat to the Netherlands in the Round of 16. Having moved to Coventry City for a club-record transfer fee this past August, the Los Angeles, Calif., native has scored 13 goals in the English League Championship campaign. On March 16, he scored one of the biggest goals of his career when he tallied in the 100th minute against Wolverhampton in the FA Cup Quarterfinals to deliver his side a 3-2 victory and a place in the final four of the tournament for the first time since the 1986-87 edition.

The USMNT will compete for its third Concacaf Nations League title, facing Jamaica in the first semifinal on March 21 at 7 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The match will be shown live on Paramount+ and Univision, and fans will also be able to follow the matches via Facebook, Twitter @USMNT, Instagram @USMNT and the official U.S. Soccer App.

The other match features Mexico against Panama, with the winners of the semifinals set to square off for the championship on March 24 in Arlington.
