CHICAGO, Illinois (March 1, 2023) - U.S. Soccer’s second annual ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational will feature the Federation’s five disability National Teams training simultaneously from March 1-8, 2023 in Chula Vista, California.

The Men’s and Women’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) National Teams, the Men’s and Women’s Deaf National Teams, and the co-ed Power Soccer National Team will gather at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center for continued preparation for premier international tournaments which are set for later this year. In addition, the Down Syndrome Sports of America soccer program will be training alongside the USA teams from March 5-8.

Created to showcase and unite adaptive versions of the game, the inaugural ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational was held in January 2022 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and featured the Men’s CP (formerly Para) National Team and the inaugural camp for the Women’s CP National Team, as well as athletes from the national grassroots CP Soccer initiative and local players from the area’s TOPS Soccer program.

The Men’s and Women’s Deaf and Power Soccer National Teams were officially added to the U.S. Soccer family in March 2022 at the Annual General Meeting, and have each held stand-alone camps in Rome, Georgia over the past six months.
