CHICAGO (April 5, 2022) – The U.S. Under-16 Women’s Youth National Team will hold a 23-player training camp at the Nike World Headquarters in Portland, Ore., running from April 8-18. U.S. Under-15 Women’s Youth National Team head coach Katie Schoepfer will lead the U-16 WYNT for the event.

U.S. U-16 WYNT ROSTER BY POSITION (CLUB; HOMETOWN) - APRIL TRAINING CAMP

GOALKEEPERS (3): Caroline Birkel (St. Louis Scott Gallagher; St. Louis, Mo.), Caroline Dysart (San Diego Surf; San Diego, Calif.), Kealey Titmuss (Nationals; Grand Blanc, Mich.)

DEFENDERS (7): Elizabeth Boamah (Albion SC San Diego; San Diego, Calif.), Jordyn Bugg (San Diego Surf; El Cajon, Calif.), Cassidy Corcione (PDA; Howell, N.J.), Reese Klein (Florida United; Cooper City, Fla.), Tabitha Sine (Dallas Texans; Dallas, Texas), Carla Small (IMG Academy; Waipahu, Hawaii), Kamryn Winger (Virginia Development Academy; Woodbridge, Va.)

MIDFIELDERS (6): Kendall Bodak (NEFC; Monson, Mass.), Ines Derrien (San Diego Surf; San Diego, Calif.), Addison Halpern (PDA; Middlesex, N.J.), Eleanor Klinger (Internationals SC; Pepper Pike, Ohio), Grace Restovich (St. Louis Scott Gallagher; St. Louis Mo.), Avery Robinson (Florida Elite; St. John's, Fla.)

FORWARDS (7): Emeri Adames (Solar SC; Red Oak, Texas), Sophia Bradley (PDA; Wayne, N.J.), Sophia Brelage (Florida United; Pembroke Pines, Fla.), Addison Hess (TSJ FC Virginia; South Riding, Va.), Ava McDonald (FC Dallas; Allen, Texas), Nevaeh Peregrina (LA Roca FC; Ogden, Utah), Kennedy Roesch (San Diego Surf; San Diego, Calif)

All 23 players were born in 2006, which is the age cut-off for this year’s U-16 WYNT. This player pool is also age-eligible for the U-17 WYNT, which will kick off World Cup qualifying later this month at the 2022 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship.

The 23 players come from 16 different youth clubs, led by four from the San Diego Surf and three from New Jersey’s Players Development Academy. Eleven states are represented on the roster, with the most players, five, coming from California. IMG Academy defender Carla Small is a rare, but becoming more common, USYNT call-up from the state of Hawaii.
