• Lindsey Horan will wear the captain’s armband for the first time in her National Team career as she is recognized for earning her 100^th career cap on July 24, 2021. The 41^st player in USWNT history to reach the 100-cap milestone and the 18^th-youngest to do so, Horan will be playing in her 105^th career match for the USWNT. Horan is third on the team in minutes (1,347) in 2021 and is tied for second with five assists on the year.

• Goalkeeper and Salina, Kansas native Adrianna Franch will make her fourth start of the year as she earns her 10^th overall cap, becoming the 17^th goalkeeper in USWNT history to reach double-digit caps. A 2019 World Cup champion and a 2020 Olympic bronze medalist, Franch is the only player from Kansas ever to make a world championship roster for the USWNT. Franch was on the roster but did not see the field when the USA last played at Children’s Mercy Park in 2018, making this her first game for the USA in her home state.

• Kelley O’Hara will make her 15^th start of the year in what will be her 148^th cap overall. O’Hara has played the full 90 minutes in eight of the last 10 games in which she has been available for the USA, including five starts and 471 total minutes of action at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

• The second-most capped on the USA’s roster behind Carli Lloyd, Becky Sauerbrunn is set to earn her 196^th cap with tonight’s match against Korea Republic. The 36-year-old Sauerbrunn, who hails from St. Louis and played five seasons with FC Kansas City in the early days of the NWSL, leads the USA 1,481 minutes played in 2021.

• Tierna Davidson will make her fifth consecutive start as she earns her 42^nd cap overall for the USWNT. Davidson, who celebrated her 23^rd birthday during the USA’s September camp, has appeared in 16 games this year and will be making her 11^th start. Davidson has dished out three assists during the 2021 campaign, matching her career-high for assists in a calendar year.

• Casey Krueger will make her fifth appearance of the year and second consecutive start as she earns her 37^th career cap overall. Krueger has two assists on the year, the most recent of which came in the USWNT’s Sep. 21 win over Paraguay, where she started and played 61 minutes while also tallying an assist on the opening goal by Rose Lavelle.

• Rose Lavelle will earn her 65^th career cap as she makes her 15^th start of 2021, coming of a one-goal, three-assist showing in her hometown of Cincinnati in the USA’s most recent action. Lavelle – who has three goals and five assists on the year -- will have now appeared in 19 of the USWNT’s 21 games so far in 2021, setting a career-best for games played in a calendar year.

• Catarina Macario will make second consecutive start as she earns her 11^th career cap. Macario made her international debut for the USA on January 18, 2021, and made her first start – and scored her first international goal – four days later in the USA’s 6-0 win over Colombia. In her most recent showing for the USA, Macario started and scored twice in the USWNT’s 8-0 win over Paraguay on September 21, marking her first multi-goal game for the USA.

• Tobin Heath will make her sixth start of the year as she makes her 180^th international appearance, becoming the 17^th player in USWNT history to reach 180 career caps. After missing much of the year recovering from injury, Heath started the USA’s final match of the Send-Off Series vs. Mexico before playing in all six matches at the Tokyo Olympics where she made four starts and assisted Rose Lavelle’s opening goal against New Zealand.

• Alex Morgan is set to earn her 189^th cap as she makes her ninth start of the year. Morgan is third on the team in scoring with seven goals this year and is coming off a hat trick in the USA’s Sep. 21 win over Paraguay. Morgan has a goal and two assists in four previous appearances against South Korea.

• Megan Rapinoe will make 187^th career appearance for the USA in what is also her first action for the USWNT since scoring a brace in the Bronze Medal Match at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Rapinoe is second on the team in scoring with nine goals on the year, which is also tied for the most goals she has ever scored for the USA in calendar year. Rapinoe also scored nine goals in 2019 and tallied eight times in 2012. Rapinoe has registered a goal or an assist in each of her five previous matches against Korea Republic, with six assists and one goal.

• Midfielder Andi Sullivan will not be available for tonight’s match against Korea Republic as she recovers from a minor knee injury.
