CHICAGO (March 5, 2020) – U.S. Soccer and GoGo squeeZ, the leading squeezable snack pouch made from 100 percent fruit, today announced an exclusive partnership that will establish GoGo squeeZ as the Official Fruit Snack of the U.S. Soccer Federation.

U.S. Soccer and GoGo squeeZ share a commitment to encouraging active and healthy lifestyles for kids and families across the United States. The ultimate halftime snack for soccer families, GoGo squeeZ will distribute fruit pouches and premium items to fans attending matches and U.S. Soccer Development Academy events, while becoming the first official sponsor of the Ball Kids patrolling the sidelines at all U.S. Soccer-controlled matches.

“U.S. Soccer is excited to partner with GoGo squeeZ as the Official Fruit Snack of the Federation," said U.S. Soccer Chief Administrative Officer Brian Remedi. “Encouraging our young athletes to live an active and healthy lifestyle is an important part of player wellness, and we're looking forward to working with GoGo squeeZ to make sure that message reaches as many players as possible across the country."

The multi-year agreement facilitated by Soccer United Marketing (SUM), U.S. Soccer’s partner for more than 15 years, will provide GoGo squeeZ a partnership platform to interact directly with soccer fans and families and promote new fruit products. GoGo squeeZ is also committed to leveraging the partnership to co-author social impact programming with U.S. Soccer to expand access to and increase participation in youth sports across under-resourced communities.

“Beginning with the SheBelieves Cup this month, we’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with U.S. Soccer to co-develop programs aimed at encouraging active and healthy lifestyles through participation in youth sports,” said Helene Caillate, Chief Marketing Officer at GoGo squeeZ. “Made from 100% fruit and available in over 25 varieties, GoGo squeeZ is the perfect snack for youth athletes on and off the pitch. Nutrition is absolutely essential for our active children to be their best selves, and we’re very pleased to have found a platform and like-minded organization like U.S. Soccer to help deliver this message across the country.”

Since its launch in the United States in June 2008, plant-based GoGo squeeZ has been committed to providing families with healthy on-the-go snacks. GoGo squeeZ has proven that it is possible for on-the-go snacks to be made with simple ingredients that are nutritious and delicious, allowing kids to “squeeZ” more goodness into each day.

“Soccer United Marketing is proud to facilitate this multi-year partnership between U.S. Soccer and GoGo squeeZ,” said Carter Ladd, Senior Vice President of SUM. “We look forward to working with GoGo squeeZ to positively impact the next generation of soccer stars by encouraging our youngest soccer players and fans to stay active and live healthy lifestyles through the partnership.”
