NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
A long-time member of the U.S. Women’s Youth National Teams, Sanchez was named the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year in 2016.
In March of 2016, she earned her first call-up to the Senior National Team at the age of 17, but did not truly break into the team until the end of 2021.
A dynamic dribbler and crafty attacker, Sanchez made her international debut on Nov. 27, 2021, coming on late in the second half of the USA’s win over the Matildas in Sydney
Played 731 minutes in 2022 and scored three goals with three assists, which was tied for the fourth-most goal contributions on the team
Played in four matches and made two starts at the 2022 Concacaf W Championship, tallying an assist against Jamaica and a goal in the semifinal against Costa Rica as she helped the USA qualify for both the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Sanchez was one of the brightest stars of the U.S. Youth National Teams during her time on the youth level, scoring 21 U-17 international goals in 21 caps at the U-17 level and scoring 12 goals in 35 U-20 international caps.

YOUTH WORLD CUP EXPERIENCE
Made history by being the first American to play in both the FIFA Under-17 and Under-20 Women’s World Cups in the same cycle, which she did in 2016.
Started all six games at the 2016 U-20 WWC, playing 568 of a possible 570 minutes despite being the youngest player on the roster.
Captained the USA at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan, scoring three goals.
Also represented the USA at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France and scored against Paraguay in the group stage.
CLUB HIGHLIGHTS
Draft No. 4 overall by the Washington Spirit in the 2020 NWSL Draft.
Helped send the Spirit to the 2021 NWSL Championship Game – which they won - with a magical game-winner vs. OL Reign in the semifinals in the 2-1 victory.

Daughter of Ralph and Julie Sanchez, she has an older brother Evan and an older sister Sierra.
Majored in political science major at UCLA where she was an All-America selection but forewent her final year of eligibility to turn professional.
