Nearly three years from his debut, de la Torre returned to the USMNT for his second cap and recorded his first assist on March 25, 2021 in a 4-1 win over Jamaica in a friendly played in Austria.
Made his USMNT debut on June 2, 2018 as a substitute in a 2-1 loss at Ireland, playing the final 13 minutes.
He played in all three games for the U.S. at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, and started all five matches at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea.

Played in four of the 14 Octagonal Round games, earning two starts and two substitute appearances.
Made his first USMNT and WCQ start on Feb. 2, 2022 in the 3-0 win against Honduras.
Made his WCQ debut on October 7, 2021, entering for the final 12 minutes in a 2-0 win over Jamaica.
CLUB HIGHLIGHTS
On July 8, 2022 he signed a four-year contract with Celta de Vigo in Spain’s La Liga, and made his debut on August 20 against Real Madrid.
On August 6, 2020 he signed with Heracles Almelo in the Dutch Eredivisie, and appeared in 64 matches over two seasons, scoring twice.
He made his Fulham first team debut on August 9, 2016 as a starter in a 3-2 victory at Leyton Orient in the first round of the League Cup. He appeared in five league games in the 2017-18 season, and would finish his time at Craven Cottage time after the 2020 season with 14 career appearances.
In the summer of 2013, moved to England and joined the Fulham academy. After a season with the U-16's, De la Torre signed his scholarship on July 1, 2014 and was moved up to the U-18 squad.
Played two season in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy for Nomads Youth Soccer Club (2011-12) and San Diego Surf (2012-2013). Grew up playing for Carmel Valley Sharks and the Carmel Valley Manchester Soccer Club.

Grew up in San Diego, California as an only child to parents Juan de la Torre and Anne Bang.
His mother earned a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of California-San Diego, and is the Director of Stem Cell Biology at the Conrad Prebys Center for Chemical Genomics of the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif.
His father Juan - who is from the Spanish Canary Islands - received his Ph.D. from Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, is a professor in the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego.
Moved to England to pursue a professional career after his freshman year at Torrey Pines High School.
