CHICAGO (Feb. 26, 2018) – Defender Emily Fox has replaced midfielder Danielle Colaprico on the 23-player U.S. roster for the 2019 SheBelieves Cup.
Colaprico suffered a reaggravation of a groin injury sustained while playing for Sydney FC in Australia’s W-League and is not ready for game action.
Fox, 20, who is a rising junior at the University of North Carolina, has three career caps. A veteran of the USA’s last two FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Teams, she earned her first international appearance for the WNT on Nov. 8, 2018 vs. Portugal, playing 63 minutes in the 1-0 win, to become the 230th woman to earn a cap for the U.S. WNT. She also started against Scotland on Nov. 13, 2018, playing 76 minutes, to earn her second cap, and earned her third cap and start against France on Jan. 19, 2019, playing 53 minutes.
