Midfielder Tim Weah entered the U.S. Men’s National Team’s international friendly against Paraguay on March 27, 2018 as a substitute in the 87th minute. With his appearance, the 18-year-old attacker became the first player born in the year 2000 to earn a cap with the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Following Weah’s historic debut in 2018, the next birth year has also pushed its first debutant into the USMNT. Forward Uly Llanez – who was born April 2, 2001 -- started and scored in his first cap, a 1-0 friendly win against Costa Rica on Feb. 1, 2020 in Carson, Calif.

Below, find the list of the first player to debut for the USMNT by birthyear, going back to 1970.
